The “+” stands for additional features in the GLOW CUBE-200, including a protective gas function and a rapid cooling system using compressed air. These functions are program-controlled and can be activated as needed.
For heat treatment under a protective gas atmosphere, a temperature-monitored protective gas box made of special steel is used. The capacity of the protective gas box allows for the heat treatment of either four round model platforms with a diameter of 100 mm or a square platform of up to 200 x 200 mm with a model height of up to 100 mm.
The protective gas and compressed air flow rates for rapid cooling of the heating chamber can be manually and steplessly adjusted using two separate control modules.
